Civil Society for Poverty Reduction
Civil Society for Poverty Reduction CSPR, works to actively and effectively contribute to poverty reduction and pro-poor development in Zambia. They do so through generating and sourcing evidence-based data, advocacy for responsive policy formulation and implementation and civic engagement in development processes. They are a mobilization and coordination hub of CSOs for the provisions of a result-oriented platform and knowledge sharing at all levels.
The Non-governmental Gender Organizations’ Coordinating Council (NGOCC)
The Non-governmental Gender Organizations’ Coordinating Council NGOCC, is an umbrella network for NGOs and Community Based Organizations in Zambia. The organization is active in championing women’s empowerment, gender equity and equality. In over 30 years of its existence, NGOCC has grown to be the focal point of the women’s movement in Zambia, with a total membership of 97 organizations spread in all the 10 provinces of Zambia and covering 58 districts.
NGOCC is also one of our Southern Africa Regional Partners.
Planned Parenthood Association of Zambia
Since January 2019, IM has partnered with Planned Parenthood Association of Zambia PPAZ, a voluntary, non-profit, non-governmental, non-discriminatory, non-political organization and a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). It advocates for the sexual and reproductive health rights of women, men and youth to empower them to make free and informed reproductive health choices. PPAZ dedicates itself to providing high quality and sustainable youth – focused sexual and reproductive health information and services and strives to become market leaders in Sexual and Reproductive Health service provision.
